O.J. Black Memorabilia - Black Baby on Bed Pan
Occupied Japan

$35.00 plus $8.00 Insured U.S. 1st Class Shipping

This old ceramic baby sitting on a bedpan is a fun conversation piece. It was probably intended to be used as an ashtray but doesn’t look like treated as such. The little baby has a cute pouty face with beady little eyes. The eyes and the little red dot of a mouth are hand painted over the glaze. The baby is sitting on the edge of a bed pan or chamber pot. On the bottom it is incised Occupied Japan which dates it from the late 1940’s through the early 1950’s.

It measures about 3 ¼” high by 3 ½” long by 2 1/8” wide and is in very good condition with minimal wear and no damage.
